Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals for four (4) and possibly five (5) RFPs for
New Type 6 Firefighting Apparatus will be received by Albany County Fire District #1
until, but not after, 5:00 P.M. MST March 25, 2026. Proposals will be received by email
to opschief@albanycountyfd1.com or by mail to ACFD1, Att: Type 6, 4387 North 3 rd
Street, Laramie, WY, 82072. Bids received after the time fixed for opening will not be
accepted. This notice may also be posted on public procurement websites with the
same dates. Detailed RFPs including apparatus specifications may be obtained from
albanycountyfd1.com. The District also reserves the right to purchase up to five (5) New
Type 6 Fire Apparatus on the open market if no suitable proposals are received. The
District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, waive any irregularities,
technicalities or informalities and accept any proposal if such action is believed to be in
